As of February 2004 it has been recognized as a Civil Organization by the National IGJ under resolution N.º 938. ACO began with the intention of integrating and favoring processes of rehabilitation and social reintegration for mental health sufferers, in the midst of a large increase of mental health disorders in Argentina and in the World.
